About Us
We strive to bring about a world that is more compassionate, harmonious, equitable, sustainable, healthy, and beautiful.
We have chosen to center the concepts of integration, development, and initiative in our work, because we believe that structural change that equitably meets the basic needs of everyone is needed. Only solutions that address the complexity of this challenge have the power to sustain. We further believe that systems must continually be responsive to needs, so we strive to support growth, learning, and healing for individuals (who build and maintain systems) as well as holistic development for communities and large scale systems that structurally prioritize meeting the needs of all in sustainable ways. Finally, this work only starts when it actually begins and work that is begun must be sustained, therefore we highlight and affirm the importance of initiation and organized initiatives in bringing about a world that is more compassionate, harmonious, equitable, sustainable, healthy, and beautiful.
Our Vision and Values
We envision a world where people come together to ensure everyone’s basic needs are met now and for generations to come.
We recognize that most social and environmental problems stem from the use of strategies that do not meet everyone’s needs. We also recognize that the challenges we face are complex and often have developed over multiple generations of people, over significant spans of time. In addition, we are immersed in large scale systems in which many people are dehumanized, oppressed, disconnected, disempowered, and overwhelmed.
We face this reality with hope and determination. We believe in the power of care, compassion, connection, and community to engage the humanity of each person, empowering them as an individual and orienting them towards interdependence. We believe that each individual is immensely powerful and that we need to support the courage and creativity of change makers. Deep solutions will only be achieved through dedication to structural and systemic change, which comes through working with multiple collaborators across multiple areas of need.
